What Makes the Answer Useful?
Select Prepare the answer. The result states that Maya’s order is in transit with Desert Express. It includes tracking reference DX-1042 and the carrier’s estimated delivery date, Thursday, October 8.
The reply also states that the date is an estimate. Open the order and policy references before approval. The result keeps those sources beside the draft, so the representative can examine the facts together.
Approve the customer reply. The local receipt records the customer, order, sources, and resolved sample status. No customer message leaves the example.
Theo’s damaged-order request needs a different result. His $480 refund requires a staff decision. The example prepares a handoff with the order, requested amount, and applicable policy. It does not approve the refund.
An unknown order produces an unresolved handoff. The example does not substitute another customer’s order. Useful assistance includes a clear route when the records cannot answer the question.
What Potential ROI Could This Produce?
At 60% adoption, this example releases 48 hours per month. Assisted time includes human review.
Labor proxy: customer service representatives. BLS May 2025 wages are $23.34/hour in Phoenix and $22.40/hour nationally.
The cost factor is 1.43, from US private-industry compensation, June 2026. This national factor is a Phoenix assumption.
| Input | Sample assumption |
|---|---|
| Monthly tasks | 1,200 |
| Minutes, manual → assisted | 6 → 2 |
| Build budget | $5,000 |
| Monthly operations | $240 |
| Potential value | Phoenix | US |
|---|---|---|
| Hourly wages + benefits | $33.38 | $32.03 |
| Monthly capacity value | $1,602 | $1,537 |
| Monthly net capacity value | $1,362 | $1,297 |
| First-year capacity ROI | 144% | 134% |
| Payback, months | 3.7 | 3.9 |
First-year cost: $7,880. ROI divides annual capacity value, less first-year cost, by first-year cost. Payback divides build cost by monthly net capacity value. Slower adoption delays payback.
Released capacity is not automatic cash savings. Workload and time reductions are illustrative, not BLS findings. Internal support is assumed; desic Maintenance costs extra. The budget and operating allowance are illustrative, not a desic quote. Measure costs before deciding.
What Needs Human Review?
Staff examine replies and exceptions before approval. A real build needs verified customer access and current order and policy records. Keep the policy version used for each answer.
Measure handling time, repeat requests, source accuracy, and handoff quality. Include damaged goods and unknown orders in the evaluation. A fast answer has value when its facts and next action are correct.
Read the production guide before defining the approval rules.
